Military Officers Leadership Programme

The GE and Dowty Military Officers’ Leadership Programme (MOLP) is a fast-track training and development programme aimed at former military employees generally leaving the service with 8+ years of experience. Spanning two years, with three rotations of eight months duration, the programme takes talented military officers with proven leadership skills and transitions that experience into commercial acumen and customer awareness. A key component of the MOLP programme is the mentoring and guidance that participants receive from senior company executives.

The MOLP is a unique opportunity to work in three eight-month rotations within Dowty Propellers and GE Aviation. Qualified candidates are selected to start their careers in a two-year rotational training programme, which includes on-the-job training, formal classroom training and coaching/mentoring by senior staff.  As a MOLP, you may perform rotations in several different functional or business areas including engineering, programmes, supply chain, sales or marketing. MOLP is offered to those who have excelled in their military careers, and have a proven record of dealing with challenging, less defined, scopes of work as you will be expected to develop strategies and plans to succeed in a variety of business challenges.  During this leadership programme you will be expected to:
